RUSSIA Would Lose Arms Race – Period

by Jack Watts President Trump has been criticized for telling Putin that the USA would “win an arms race” with Russia. To some, that might seem braggadocios, but it’s not. It’s an easily provable fact. Trump just wanted to hammer this reality home to the bellicose Russian leader. Let me explain why Trump was wise and accurate to make that statement.   The GDP of the USA is about $19.4 trillion per year. Russia’s is $1.5 trillion, making our economy thirteen times larger than Russia’s. Normally, we spend about 3.5% on defense, which equates to about $700 billion. To...

Intentionality

by Bill Worell To reach your potential you must grow, and to grow, you must be highly INTENTIONAL! Intentionality is simply mental toughness. And, mental toughness is the willingness, day in day out, to keep the commitments you make to yourself. Mental toughness is the willingness to do the little things that separate the mediocre from the champions. In 1960, the Green By Packers lost the NFL Championship to the Philadelphia Eagles. It was a devastating defeat for the Packers, who walked off the field knowing they were the better team and should have won the game. Coach Lombardi called all the players together in the locker and told them in a very level voice, “Perhaps you didn’t realize that you could have won this game. But I think there is no doubt in your minds now. And that’s why you’ll win it all next year.” With this vision clearly focused in their minds, the Packers won it all in 1961 and won it again in 1962 for good measure. They had become intentional! This year is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation that rocked the political, religious and economic foundations of Europe and paved the path for Christian civilization in the West. While prophets have long been emphasizing REVIVAL it may be a REFORMATION that actually arrives. Think—Do we NEED a revival or reformation? One pastor friend defined...

All The Way, Not Almost!

by Bill Worrell In our daily lives, there are a number of things we simply take for granted: appliances and productivity. And when it comes to appliances, do you ever buy new technology thinking, “This is it the ultimate! There’s no way anyone can improve on this design!” That’s how I used to feel about my VHS player. That’s also how I felt bout my Apple lap pc—the FIRST apple lap pc—and about my cassette tape collection. One-day pastor Tim Lambert overheard me tell someone I had just purchased a new music TAPE. And he chimed in “Now, you’re showing your age! Yet we know you meant CD!” The bottom line: Out of date!! Worthless—unless you can find a “collector!” Don’t you just loathe and hate getting stuck? I think as Christians, many of us find ourselves being spiritually stuck too. Just like the Israelites, how many Christians get stuck in the wilderness or even on the edge of their promised land? A sad place to get stuck is when you’ve “almost” taken possession of your promised land. Untold miracles happened along a time-consuming journey and you have gloriously stepped into your promised land. God gives you not just a glimpse, but also a panoramic view of this beloved land. Don’t stop here at the edge. It would be tempting to have no more need of manna and quail....

What Is Wrong With This Picture?

by Robin Alcala What is wrong with this picture besides the obvious misspellings?  After I read this post that a minister posted on social media, I was seeing red…and I don’t think it’s because the post was done in red either! Do you get my drift?  My eyes were becoming blood shot.   I could feel my blood vessels in my sockets expanding quickly!  Ok, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration but, honestly, I wasn’t just seeing red, I was beginning to feel red. I hope you don’t mind if I keep it real here.  This is coming from a person who has nicknames like, Flower, Sunshine, and referred often times as a gentle lamb.  Uh-huh.  For real.  But this is the same girl, who has a tiger in her tank.  And the tiger was pacing.   And then the tiger… well…pounced.  Hey, before religious fingers start the pointing game, is not Jesus the Lamb that was slain, but yet He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah?  Go figure that one.  Jesus was “balance” in demonstration.  He is gentle, yet He is the advocate for the oppressed, the outcast, the broken, the imperfect, the judged and criticized, those ostracized by the “perfect” religious ones. In life, when you are being bullied, judged, criticized, slandered, lied on, shamed, it’s nice to have a gentle caring soul to empathize with...

My Journey To The Master’s Plan

by Mary Ann Wray Writing a book and seeing it published is a dream of many people from all walks of life. However, as with any dream, there is a certain space of time, and much effort involved before it comes to fruition. For the Child of God, cooperation with the Holy Spirit is also required in order to see your “God” dreams begin to manifest. As long as I can remember, I dreamed of writing but didn’t know where or how to begin. You see, growing up I had many learning disabilities; especially in memory, reading and math....
